About

The Wordshop Integrated Content Marketing is fronted by Amy Miller, a former journalist and public relations executive with a passion for sparkling writing, a pedant’s eye for grammar and style, and an MBA’s approach to business-strategy development, analytics and measurable results.

Amy moved to Southern California in 2015, after building her professional credentials in Alaska, where she was born and raised. The majority of her career was spent working in industries like tourism, transportation and telecommunications, and on behalf of Alaska’s public-employee unions, nonprofits and foundations. In 2015, Amy earned her MBA from the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she was delighted to discover an aptitude for statistics and data analysis.

The Wordshop marries Amy’s skills as a wordsmith, honed over the course of two decades as a professional writer, with her newly discovered penchant for analytics. Today, Amy seeks to use her skills to help small business owners stand out in a sea of competitors, and to find and develop their authentic voices and brands.

As the President of the Alaska Travel Industry Association, I had the great fortune of working with Amy as a contractor on marketing communications projects.  Amy was collaborative, creative and delivered assignments in a timely manner.  In marketing, one may experience creative types who do not deliver as committed. Not Amy. She is both creative and executes capably. I heartily recommend Amy for communications and marketing content strategy work.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing, working and collaborating with Amy for close to 20 years. Amy has an innate ability to bring a narrative to life with creative expression and an unexpected approach.  Amy is smart, personable and will give 110% to ensure your success.
